The Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics at the Delft University of Technology conducts teaching and research within the Faculty of Informatics Technology and Systems. Principal participants in the institute are the departments of Applied Mathematical Analysis (AMA) and Control, Risk, Stochastics Statistics and System Theory. There are approximately 60 full time permanent faculty members, and 20 Post Docs and PhD candidates working at the institute.

In addition to service teaching for all engineering faculties, the Applied Mathematics Institute runs a full undergraduate program in dutch and a graduate program in mathematics in english. The graduate program has two variants, (1) Scientific Computation and Simulation and (2) Probability Risk and Statistics. The internationally oriented program Risk and Environmental Modelling is a synthesis of (1) and (2), and also a subpogram of (2). The totality of these pograms reflects the rich Dutch tradition in university administration. The websites linked on this page are not maintained by the R&EM group and may not be up to date.
